Meet Christine Bowen
Chris is the principal consultant and founder of communicaterelate consulting. Chris is an investor relations and corporate marketing professional. She has extensive financial services knowledge and significant experience gained from over 30 years in different sectors of the industry – predominantly investment banking; superannuation; investments; and wealth management and advice. More recently, clients have included professional services and technology firms. Prior to founding communicaterelate consulting, Chris held senior executive roles with companies including Allco Finance Group, Macquarie Bank and Lend Lease (MLC) Corporation.
Working with diverse stakeholder groups including shareholders, investors, financial intermediaries and the media, Chris’ focus on delivering results has been consistently demonstrated by her ability to build and protect corporate reputations; establish and maintain strong stakeholder relations externally and internally; manage communications in both normal operational periods as well as crisis situations; plus help to turbo-charge the growth of businesses.
Chris specialises in shareholder engagement; communications; investor relations – supporting day-to-day and transactional activities; marketing strategy – particularly B2B; issues management and media relations.
Importantly for clients, Chris is able to translate often complex issues into coherent strategies and communications that connect with stakeholders.
Chris provides advice to a range of clients: ASX-listed companies; domestic and international financial services organisations and professional services firms.
Chris is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Women on Boards. She is currently a Non Executive Director of Life Education NSW, the Chair of the Shore Parents’ Association and has previous board experience in the Superannuation and Investment sectors.
